About The Festival




In 2023, the team behind Halo Heats executed the Heatseeker Hot Sauce Festival, a first-of-its-kind event in Windsor-Essex.


Our event was met with tremendous success. We saw close to 1,000 attendees and had more than 20 vendors join us from across Ontario (all of whom are eager to return this year). We pre-sold hundreds of tickets, received lots of publicity through interviews with local media, and executed a strong marketing plan on social media.


With our date, time, and location at the Pelissier Street Parking Garage, we creatively transformed an underutilized space in the downtown core and strategically leveraged the bustling foot traffic of the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market, which we will be doing again this year.

Sponsorship funds will be used for:

  • Subsidizing ticket cost for attendees, allowing for bigger spend inside the festival
  • Elevating the event atmosphere: plants, carpets, music, uplighting, etc.
  • Entertainment: live DJ, sound equipment, etc.
  • Renting & installing seating/eating areas for attendees
  • Advertising and promotional material

Sponsorships must be confirmed by payment in full by March 30, 2024, to ensure adequate time for planning and the inclusion of your brand in printed materials.

Sponsorship Exclusivity: Each sponsorship package is exclusive and cannot be split or divided between multiple sponsors. Each sponsoring entity will be entitled to the full benefits of their selected sponsorship level, ensuring clear and singular representation of each sponsor’s brand throughout the event. We offer this exclusivity to maintain the integrity and value of each sponsorship, providing undiluted visibility and recognition for each of our partners.

Payment: Full payment must be received by March 30, 2024, to confirm sponsorship and ensure inclusion in promotional materials. Acceptable forms of payment include bank transfer, credit card, and cheque. Please contact us for payment details.

Cancellation Policy: Once confirmed, sponsorships are final and cannot be canceled. We rely on the pledged support of our sponsors to deliver a high-quality event and to provide the community with an engaging experience. Therefore, we are unable to offer refunds once a sponsorship has been confirmed and paid.

Logo and Branding Materials: Sponsors are responsible for providing high-resolution logos and any specific branding materials required for promotional purposes. Please submit all materials by March 30, 2024, to ensure they are included in printed and digital media.

Booth Setup and Regulations: Sponsors are responsible for the setup and breakdown of their booth spaces. Set-up must be completed by a specified time on the day of the event, and breakdown should not commence before the event’s conclusion. Please adhere to all guidelines provided regarding booth size, layout, and permitted activities.

Liability and Insurance: Sponsors are responsible for their own property and personnel. The event organizers will not be liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property or for personal injuries to the sponsor's employees or representatives. Sponsors are encouraged to carry their own insurance to cover their personnel and materials.

Force Majeure: In the event that the festival is canceled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the event organizers (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health emergencies), the organizers will provide options for sponsorship rollover to a rescheduled or future event or partial refunds, subject to expenses already incurred.

Compliance: Sponsors agree to comply with all local laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and public order. Any failure to comply may result in the termination of the sponsorship agreement without refund.

Changes to the Event: The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event date, venue, or program. Sponsors will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.

Approval Rights: The event organizers reserve the right to approve all sponsor advertisements and materials related to the event. Materials that do not meet the standards of the event may be rejected.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of the sponsorship agreement will be resolved through mediation; if unresolved, disputes will be settled through arbitration.
